Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef lean
  • 2 cups pasta uncooked, penne or rotini
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add garlic, salt, and pepper. Sauté for 1 minute.
  3. Add pasta, broth, and cream. Stir well and bring to a boil.
  4. Cover and simmer for 12–15 minutes or until pasta is tender.
  5. Stir in cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
  6. Serve hot, optionally garnished with chopped parsley or chili flakes.

Notes

Use whole wheat pasta for added fiber. You can also swap cheddar with mozzarella or add spinach for extra nutrients.
