Strawberry Cream Cheese Danish

This Strawberry Cream Cheese Danish combines buttery, flaky puff pastry with a rich cream cheese filling and juicy strawberries on top. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or an afternoon treat, it’s easy to make and sure to impress your family and guests.

🛒 Ingredients (Makes 6 pastries):

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Optional: powdered sugar for dusting or icing drizzle

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Cut puff pastry into 6 squares. Score a smaller square inside each square to create a border.
  4. Spread cream cheese mixture inside the inner square on each pastry.
  5. Arrange sliced strawberries on top of the cream cheese.
  6. Brush the edges with beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 15–18 minutes or until pastry is golden and puffed.
  8. Cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar or drizzle icing if desired.
