- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine ground beef and sausage in a large bowl.
- Add ricotta, Parmesan, mozzarella, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix gently.
- Form into 1 1/2-inch meatballs.
- Heat olive oil in oven-safe skillet and brown meatballs on all sides.
- Pour marinara sauce over meatballs.
- Top with extra mozzarella.
- Bake 20–25 minutes until cooked through and bubbly.
Notes
Do not overmix the meatball mixture. Use whole milk ricotta for best texture.
