Ingredients
  

Base
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 10 oz mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
Chocolate Coating
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
Decoration
  • festive sprinkles or crushed candy canes

Method
 

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add marshmallows and stir until melted and smooth.
  2. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and salt, then fold in Rice Krispies cereal until evenly coated.
  3. Form into small balls and place on parchment paper. Chill for 15–20 minutes.
  4. Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil until smooth. Dip balls in chocolate and decorate with sprinkles or candy canes.
  5. Allow to set before serving or storing.

Keep stored in an airtight container. Perfect for making ahead for holiday gatherings.
