Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat chicken dry. Rub with olive oil, garlic, paprika, salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Heat oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken skin-side down 4–5 minutes until golden. Flip and cook 2 minutes.
- Remove chicken. Pour in chicken broth, scraping browned bits. Stir in cream and butter until combined.
- Return chicken skin-side up. Bake 20–25 minutes until internal temp 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from oven, let rest 5 minutes. Spoon sauce over chicken, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.
Notes
Sear chicken well for flavor. Spoon sauce over just before serving for extra richness.
