Ingredients
  

Biscuit Dough
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter cold, cubed
  • 3/4 cup milk whole or 2%

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Add milk gradually, stirring until dough just comes together.
  5. Turn dough onto a floured surface, pat to 1/2-inch thickness, and cut biscuits.
  6. Place biscuits on baking sheet and bake 12–15 minutes until golden.
  7. Cool slightly on wire rack before serving.

Notes

Optional: add cheese, herbs, or use buttermilk for variation.
