Method
- Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add milk gradually, stirring until dough just comes together.
- Turn dough onto a floured surface, pat to 1/2-inch thickness, and cut biscuits.
- Place biscuits on baking sheet and bake 12–15 minutes until golden.
- Cool slightly on wire rack before serving.

Optional: add cheese, herbs, or use buttermilk for variation.
