Ingredients
  

Bread Dough
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2-4 tbsp milk as needed
  • 2 tbsp parmesan cheese for topping
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Add Greek yogurt and olive oil, mixing until a dough begins to form.
  3. Fold in mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
  4. Add milk gradually if needed until dough becomes soft and workable.
  5. Transfer dough to a floured surface and knead gently for 1 minute.
  6. Shape into a round loaf about 1 inch thick.
  7. Heat a greased nonstick skillet over low-medium heat.
  8. Place dough into skillet, cover with lid, and cook for 8-10 minutes.
  9. Flip carefully and cook another 6-8 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  10. Top with parmesan cheese and parsley before serving warm.

Notes

Cook slowly over low heat to ensure the bread cooks evenly inside without burning outside.
