Ingredients
  

Bread Dough
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 0.33 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp butter for greasing skillet

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and parsley.
  2. Add Greek yogurt, melted butter, milk, and shredded cheese to the dry ingredients.
  3. Mix until a soft dough forms. Add additional milk if needed.
  4. Transfer dough to a lightly floured surface and knead briefly until smooth.
  5. Divide dough into two equal portions and shape into flat rounds.
  6. Heat a greased nonstick skillet over medium-low heat.
  7. Cook bread rounds covered for 6–8 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Cool slightly before slicing and serving warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, brush warm bread with garlic butter and sprinkle with fresh herbs before serving.
