3-Ingredient Beer Bread

An incredibly easy homemade bread made with just flour, sugar, and beer. No yeast, no kneading, and ready in under an hour.

Ingredients
  

Bread Batter
  • 3 cups self-rising flour
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 12 oz beer room temperature

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Loaf pan
  • Wire rack

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Combine self-rising flour and sugar in a large bowl.
  3. Slowly stir in beer until just combined.
  4. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
  5. Bake 45–50 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  6. Cool slightly, slice, and serve.

Notes

Use lighter beers for mild flavor or darker beers for richer taste.
