- Cook gnocchi in salted boiling water until they float. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add crushed tomatoes, salt, pepper, sugar, and chili flakes. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir in cream and Parmesan until smooth and creamy.
- Add cooked gnocchi and toss to coat, thinning with pasta water if needed.
- Top with torn burrata, basil, Parmesan, and olive oil drizzle before serving.
Notes
For extra depth, add sautéed mushrooms or spinach. Burrata can be replaced with fresh mozzarella if desired.
