Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8-inch cake pan.
- Blend dates and milk until smooth and creamy.
- Add eggs and blend again until fully combined.
- Transfer mixture to a bowl and gently fold in self-rising flour.
- Pour batter into prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Slice and serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
For extra flavor, add cinnamon, walnuts, or chocolate chips to the batter before baking.
