Method
- Cook diced apples, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a skillet until softened and syrupy.
- Stir in vanilla extract and allow the filling to cool slightly.
- Flatten biscuit dough pieces into small circles.
- Add one tablespoon of apple filling to the center of each dough circle.
- Wrap dough around the filling and seal tightly to form balls.
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F.
- Place bombs seam-side down in the air fryer basket and cook for 8–10 minutes until golden.
- Brush warm bombs with melted butter and roll in cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Serve warm with optional powdered sugar and caramel sauce.
Notes
Use firm apples like Honeycrisp or Granny Smith for best results. Seal dough well to prevent leaks.
