Ingredients
  

Chicken Base
  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts large
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp chili powder optional
  • 0.5 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tsp honey optional

  • Air fryer
  • Mixing bowl
  • Tongs
  • Meat thermometer

Method
 

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pat chicken breasts dry to remove excess moisture.
  3. Mix olive oil and seasonings in a bowl and coat chicken evenly.
  4. Place chicken in air fryer basket in a single layer.
  5. Cook for 10 minutes, flip, then brush with BBQ sauce.
  6. Cook for an additional 6–8 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Always use a meat thermometer for best results. Add BBQ sauce in the final minutes to prevent burning.
