Method
- Slice avocados in half, remove pits, and scoop flesh into a bowl.
- Add lemon juice, olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder to the avocado. Mash lightly.
- Wash and dry all vegetables and sprouts thoroughly.
- Toast bread slices lightly if desired.
- Spread cream cheese or hummus on one side of each bread slice.
- Spread avocado mixture evenly over four bread slices.
- Layer lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and sprouts over the avocado.
- Top with remaining bread slices, slice sandwiches in half, and serve fresh.
Notes
For extra flavor, add sliced radishes, microgreens, or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes.
