  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 tsp lemon juice optional
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes optional

Method
 

  1. Toast bread slices until golden and crispy.
  2. Cut avocado in half, remove pit, and scoop flesh into a bowl.
  3. Mash lightly with fork or slice thinly, depending on preference.
  4. Mix avocado with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spread avocado on toast, drizzle olive oil, and sprinkle red pepper flakes.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

For variety, add toppings such as poached eggs, smoked salmon, or tomatoes.
