Ingredients
  

  • 12 lasagna noodles cooked
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 2 cups marinara or tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup optional
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • pickles for garnish, optional

Method
 

  1. Cook noodles and set aside.
  2. Brown ground beef with onion, drain grease. Stir in marinara, ketchup, and seasonings. Simmer 5 minutes.
  3. Cook bacon until crispy and crumble.
  4. Mix ricotta with 1/2 cup mozzarella.
  5. Layer sauce, noodles, ricotta mix, bacon, and cheddar in baking dish. Repeat layers. Top with mozzarella and cheddar.
  6. Bake at 375°F (190°C) covered for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake 15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  7. Rest 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with bacon or pickles if desired.

Notes

Let lasagna rest before slicing for neat portions. Use crispy bacon for the best flavor and texture.
