Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast shredded or sliced
  • 6 slices bacon cooked until crispy
  • 4 slices cheese Swiss, cheddar, or provolone
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise optional
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard optional
  • salt and black pepper to taste
Croissants
  • 4 croissants large, split in half
  • 1 tbsp butter melted, for brushing

  • lettuce leaves optional
  • tomato slices optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cook bacon in a skillet until crispy, then drain on paper towels.
  3. Slice or shred cooked chicken breast into bite-sized pieces.
  4. Mix mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper; spread inside each croissant.
  5. Layer chicken, bacon, and cheese; top with croissant lid.
  6. Brush tops with melted butter and bake 8–10 minutes until cheese melts and croissants are golden.
  7. Serve warm with salad, fries, or soup.

Notes

Use leftover rotisserie chicken for an even quicker prep.
