Ingredients
  

  • 1 round sourdough or artisan bread loaf 8–10 inches
  • 1 wheel brie cheese 8 oz
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts optional
  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary or thyme chopped
  • 1 tbsp honey optional, for drizzling
  • olive oil for brushing
  • to taste salt and pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice off the top of the bread loaf and hollow out the center, leaving 1-inch edges. Brush inside and top with olive oil.
  3. Place brie wheel inside hollowed loaf and spoon cranberry sauce over brie. Sprinkle with nuts and herbs if using.
  4. Bake for 15–20 minutes until brie is melted and slightly bubbling.
  5. Drizzle with honey and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve immediately with sliced bread pieces for dipping.

Notes

Optional: add caramelized onions, pomegranate seeds, or a drizzle of dark chocolate for festive variations.
