- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a baking dish.
- Pat tilapia fillets dry and place on prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Brush garlic butter mixture over each fillet and place lemon slices on top.
- Bake 12–15 minutes, or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and optional lemon zest. Serve immediately.
Notes
Avoid overcooking to keep fillets moist. Serve with steamed vegetables or rice.
