Ingredients
  

Vanilla Cake
  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.75 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1.5 cups granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs large
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whole milk
Banana Cheesecake
  • 16 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 ripe bananas mashed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Cookie Butter Frosting
  • 0.75 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.5 cup cookie butter
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 2-3 tbsp heavy cream

Method
 

  1. Bake vanilla cake layers and cool completely.
  2. Prepare banana cheesecake batter and bake until just set.
  3. Chill cheesecake layer thoroughly before assembly.
  4. Beat frosting ingredients until smooth and fluffy.
  5. Layer cake, cheesecake, and frosting; frost exterior.
