Method
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and powdered sugar until light and smooth. Mix in vanilla.
- Add flour and salt, mixing just until dough forms.
- Roll dough to ½-inch thickness, cut shapes, and place on baking sheets.
- Bake 14–16 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Cool completely.
- Simmer blackberries, sugar, and lemon juice until berries break down.
- Strain juice and whisk with powdered sugar to form glaze.
- Drizzle glaze over cooled cookies and allow to set before serving.
Notes
Glaze thickness can be adjusted by adding more or less blackberry juice.
