Ingredients
  

Pastry
  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 120 g cream cheese softened
  • 100 g blue cheese crumbled
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped
  • 1 tbsp chives chopped
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp honey optional
  • 1 egg for egg wash
  • 1 tbsp water

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix cream cheese, blue cheese, butter, garlic, herbs, pepper, and salt until combined.
  3. Spread mixture over rolled puff pastry evenly.
  4. Roll tightly into a log and chill for 20–30 minutes.
  5. Slice into rounds and place on baking sheet.
  6. Brush with egg wash.
  7. Bake 15–20 minutes until golden and puffed.
  8. Cool slightly and serve warm.

Notes

Chilling the rolled pastry before slicing helps maintain the spiral shape.
