- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
- Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Mix egg, buttermilk, butter, and vanilla in another bowl.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients; fold in blueberries.
- Spoon batter into donut pan cavities, filling ¾ full.
- Bake 12–15 minutes or until golden; cool on wire rack.
- Cook blueberries for glaze until soft; strain to get juice.
- Whisk juice with powdered sugar, lemon juice, vanilla, and milk.
- Dip cooled donuts into glaze; let set before serving.
Notes
For deeper flavor, add lemon zest or use wild blueberries.
