- In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine blueberries, sugar, and 1 cup water. Simmer for 5 minutes until blueberries burst and sugar dissolves.
- Transfer mixture to a blender and blend until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher.
- Add lemon juice and the remaining 3 cups of cold water. Stir well.
- Serve over ice and garnish with extra blueberries or lemon slices. 💜🍋
Notes
You can make the blueberry syrup ahead and store it in the fridge for up to 5 days. Adjust sugar to your taste for a sweeter or more tart lemonade.
