Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 2 cups broccoli florets chopped
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheese cheddar and mozzarella
  • 4 eggs large
  • 1 cup milk
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare pie crust.
  2. Blanch broccoli briefly and drain well.
  3. Sauté onion and garlic in butter until soft.
  4. Whisk eggs, milk, cream, and seasonings together.
  5. Layer broccoli, onion mixture, and cheese in crust.
  6. Pour egg mixture over filling.
  7. Bake 35–40 minutes until set.
  8. Cool slightly before slicing and serving.
