  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz pasta penne, rotini, or rigatoni
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 green bell pepper chopped
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 oz cream cheese cubed
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.5 tsp paprika optional
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and brown the ground beef. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add chopped onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook until softened.
  4. Pour in beef broth, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add cream cheese and stir until melted and creamy.
  6. Add cooked pasta and shredded provolone. Stir until the cheese melts and the pasta is well coated.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For extra cheesiness, add more provolone or top with melted mozzarella before serving.
