Ingredients
  

Croissant Bake
  • 6 butter croissants cut into chunks
  • 8 oz cooked ham sliced or diced
  • 2 cups shredded cheese Gruyère or Swiss
  • 4 eggs large
  • 1.5 cups milk or half-and-half
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Layer half of the croissant pieces in the dish, followed by ham and cheese.
  3. Repeat with remaining croissants, ham, and cheese.
  4. Whisk eggs, milk, butter, mustard, salt, and pepper together.
  5. Pour custard evenly over the croissant layers.
  6. Let rest 10–15 minutes to absorb.
  7. Bake 35–40 minutes until golden and bubbly.
