  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.75 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs large
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.75 cup white chocolate chips
  • 0.5 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 0.75 cup crushed candy canes

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch pie dish.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Beat butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  4. Mix in eggs and vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet mixture until dough forms.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips and crushed candy canes.
  7. Spread dough evenly into prepared pie dish.
  8. Bake for 25–30 minutes until edges are golden.
  9. Cool slightly, slice, and serve.

Notes

Do not overbake for a soft center texture.
