Method
- Whisk together soy sauces, brown sugar, sesame oil, and vinegar. Marinate chicken for at least 20 minutes.
- Heat oil in skillet, sear chicken skin-side down until caramelized, about 4-5 minutes per side.
- Remove chicken, then sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth, scraping up caramelized bits. Simmer 10 minutes.
- Return chicken to skillet, simmer in broth 10 minutes until tender and fully cooked.
- Spoon rice into bowls, slice chicken, arrange on top, ladle broth around, and garnish with green onions.
