Ingredients
  

Beef & Cheese
  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20
  • 4 oz cheddar cheese cut into small cubes
Bacon & Seasoning
  • 12 strips bacon
  • 0.25 cup BBQ sauce for brushing
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • optional chopped parsley or green onions for garnish

  • Parchment paper or foil
  • Toothpicks
  • Pastry brush

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Divide into 12 portions.
  3. Flatten each beef portion, place a cube of cheddar inside, and wrap beef around it to seal.
  4. Wrap each beef ball with a strip of bacon and secure with toothpicks if needed.
  5. Place bombs on prepared sheet, brush with BBQ sauce, and bake 25–30 minutes until bacon is crispy.
  6. Remove toothpicks, brush with extra BBQ sauce if desired, garnish, and serve hot.

Notes

Can be prepped ahead and refrigerated; bake just before serving.
