Ingredients
  

Cookie Dough
  • 2.25 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.75 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 egg large
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • 1 tbsp red food coloring
Filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Baking sheet

  • Hand mixer or stand mixer

Method
 

  1. Prepare cheesecake filling and freeze until firm.
  2. Whisk dry ingredients together in a bowl.
  3. Cream butter and sugars, then add wet ingredients.
  4. Mix in dry ingredients until dough forms.
  5. Wrap dough around frozen filling and seal.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 12–14 minutes.

Notes

Freeze filling for best results and avoid overbaking.
