Ingredients
  

Slider Filling
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 1 yellow onion finely diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 12 slider buns
Garlic Butter Topping
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • 9x13 baking dish
  • Mixing bowls
  • Pastry brush

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook ground beef and Italian sausage in a large skillet until browned.
  3. Add diced onion and garlic, cooking until softened and fragrant.
  4. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Slice slider buns horizontally and place bottom halves into baking dish.
  6. Spread meat mixture evenly over buns and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  7. Place top buns over cheese layer.
  8. Mix melted butter, garlic powder, parsley, and sesame seeds.
  9. Brush butter mixture over buns.
  10. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  11. Remove foil and bake another 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  12. Cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.
