Ingredients
  

Chicken Filling
  • 3 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1.5 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped
Crescent Layer
  • 1 package crescent roll dough
  • 2 tbsp butter melted

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, and cream of chicken soup until smooth.
  3. Add garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, parsley, shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, and half the mozzarella cheese.
  4. Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  5. Place a spoonful of chicken mixture onto each crescent triangle and roll tightly.
  6. Arrange filled crescents seam-side down in the baking dish.
  7. Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese over the casserole.
  8. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  9. Allow casserole to cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

Add cooked bacon, broccoli, or jalapeños for delicious flavor variations. Rotisserie chicken works perfectly for quick prep.
