Ingredients
  

Pasta Base
  • 12 oz pasta penne or rotini
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast cubed
Cheese Sauce
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 0.75 cup heavy cream
  • 1.5 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded

Equipment

  • Large pot
  • Skillet or deep pan
  • Whisk
  • Wooden spoon

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  3. Whisk in flour and cook briefly, then add milk and cream slowly.
  4. Simmer until thickened, then stir in cheeses until melted.
  5. Add chicken and pasta, stir until evenly coated, and serve warm.
