Ingredients
  

Casserole Base
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni uncooked
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 2 cups milk whole milk
  • 1 cup tomato sauce

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a casserole dish.
  2. Cook macaroni until al dente, drain, and set aside.
  3. Brown ground beef with onion and garlic in a skillet, then drain.
  4. Prepare cheese sauce by whisking butter, flour, milk, and cheese until smooth.
  5. Combine macaroni, beef, sauce, and seasonings.
  6. Transfer to casserole dish and bake 25–30 minutes until bubbly.
