Ingredients
  

Cauliflower Steaks
  • 1 large cauliflower head
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
Cheese Topping
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or mozzarella
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese grated

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Sharp knife
  • Mixing bowl

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet.
  2. Slice cauliflower into thick steaks through the core.
  3. Mix olive oil and spices, then brush onto both sides of steaks.
  4. Roast for 20 minutes, flip, and roast 10–15 minutes more.
  5. Top with cheese and bake until melted and golden.

Notes

For best texture, add cheese only at the end of roasting.
