- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8 baking pan with parchment paper.
- Whisk flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Mix melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add mashed bananas, eggs, and vanilla extract. Stir until combined.
- Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture gently.
- Fold in chocolate chips, reserving some for topping.
- Spread batter into pan and top with remaining chocolate chips.
- Bake 28–32 minutes until golden and set.
- Cool completely before slicing into bars.
Notes
Best made with very ripe bananas for maximum flavor and chewiness.
