Ingredients
  

Chicken Marinade
  • 1.5 lbs chicken thighs boneless
  • 3 tbsp yogurt
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp turmeric
Garlic Sauce
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls

Method
 

  1. Mix marinade ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Marinate chicken for at least 2 hours.
  3. Cook chicken in oven or skillet until done.
  4. Blend garlic sauce ingredients until creamy.
  5. Assemble shawarma wraps and serve.

Notes

For best flavor, marinate overnight and use chicken thighs.
