Ingredients
  

Oatmeal Base
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 0.25 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs large
  • 1.75 cups milk any kind
  • 0.33 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp butter or coconut oil melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Mix oats, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Whisk eggs, milk, maple syrup, melted butter, and vanilla in another bowl.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until fully mixed.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Pour mixture into baking dish and smooth top.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes until set.
  8. Cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

Do not overbake to maintain a fudgy texture.
