- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- In a large bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
- Fold in mashed bananas until combined.
- Gradually stir in dry ingredients until just combined.
- Gently fold in chocolate chips, reserving a few for the top.
- Pour batter into prepared pan, smooth the top, sprinkle remaining chips, and bake for 55–65 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack. Slice and serve.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a handful of chopped nuts or a swirl of peanut butter before baking.
