Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish.
  2. Cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips evenly.
  6. Spread dough in prepared pie dish; bake 25–30 minutes until edges are golden.
  7. Cool at least 10 minutes before slicing; serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. Optionally serve with ice cream or caramel drizzle.
