- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a loaf pan.
- Mash bananas and mix with melted butter and sugars.
- Add eggs, vanilla, and espresso powder, mixing well.
- Stir in cocoa powder and sour cream until smooth.
- Combine dry ingredients separately and fold into batter.
- Fold in chocolate chips and transfer to pan.
- Bake for 50–60 minutes until set.
- Cool completely before slicing and serving.
Notes
Use very ripe bananas for best flavor and moisture. Adjust espresso intensity to taste.
