Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line two 9-inch pans.
- Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl.
- Add eggs, buttermilk, oil, and vanilla; beat for 2 minutes.
- Add hot coffee or water; mix until smooth.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes. Cool completely.
- Beat butter, peanut butter, marshmallow fluff, and powdered sugar for filling.
- Melt caramels with cream and stir in chopped peanuts.
- Heat cream and pour over chocolate for ganache. Stir until smooth.
- Assemble cake: layer nougat, caramel, top with ganache and chopped Snickers.
Notes
Chill before slicing for cleaner cuts. Use dark chocolate for a richer taste.
