Method
- Melt chocolate, cream, and butter in a saucepan until smooth, then let cool slightly.
- Mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast in a bowl and let sit 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add flour, baking powder, salt, oil, and vanilla, mixing to form a dough.
- Knead dough 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Cover dough and allow it to rise for 60 minutes until doubled.
- Divide dough into 10–12 pieces and flatten each into a circle.
- Place chocolate filling in the center and seal dough tightly.
- Rest buns 15 minutes before steaming.
- Steam buns 12–15 minutes until fluffy and cooked through.
