Ingredients
  

Meatballs
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 egg large
  • 1/4 cup parsley chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
Cranberry Glaze
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, egg, parsley, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Shape mixture into 1-1.5 inch meatballs and place on prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 18–20 minutes, until cooked through and lightly browned.
  5. While meatballs bake, combine cranberry sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and cinnamon in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat until smooth and slightly thickened.
  6. Toss cooked meatballs with cranberry glaze until evenly coated.
  7. Transfer to serving platter, garnish with parsley and cranberries, and serve warm.

Notes

Perfect for holiday parties and potlucks. Can be made a day ahead.
