Ingredients
  

Main Casserole
  • 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing packets
  • 5 large eggs
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream or milk
  • 0.25 cup maple syrup or brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1.5 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 tsp nutmeg optional
Topping
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon
Glaze
  • icing from cinnamon roll packages
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar optional, for extra drizzle
  • 1-2 tbsp milk for glaze

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cut cinnamon rolls into quarters and place in dish.
  3. In a bowl, whisk eggs, cream, maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  4. Pour egg mixture over rolls and let sit 10–15 minutes.
  5. Mix melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Drizzle over the top.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and set.
  7. Drizzle with icing and serve warm.

Notes

For overnight prep, assemble and refrigerate the casserole, then bake fresh in the morning.
