- Mix cinnamon and sugar in a bowl and set aside.
- Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon together.
- In a separate bowl, whisk milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients to form a thick dough.
- Heat oil in a deep pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Scoop dough into small balls using a spoon or cookie scoop.
- Fry donut holes for 2–3 minutes until golden, turning often.
- Drain on paper towels, then roll in cinnamon sugar while warm.
