Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz premium vodka
  • 1 oz freshly brewed espresso cooled
  • 1/2 oz coffee liqueur such as Kahlúa
  • 1/2 oz butterscotch syrup
  • 1/4 oz heavy cream
  • ice cubes for shaking
  • 3 coffee beans for garnish
  • coarse sea salt for rim
  • caramel sauce for rim and drizzle
  • fresh whipped cream optional, for garnish

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Fine mesh strainer
  • Measuring jigger
  • Bar spoon

Method
 

  1. Prepare the martini glass: Dip the rim into caramel sauce, then into coarse sea salt. Chill.
  2. Fill cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
  3. Add vodka, cooled espresso, coffee liqueur, butterscotch syrup, and heavy cream.
  4. Shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until chilled and foamy.
  5. Double strain into prepared martini glass.
  6. Drizzle caramel sauce on top.
  7. Garnish with three coffee beans; optionally top with whipped cream and pinch of sea salt.
  8. Serve immediately while chilled and foamy.

Notes

Use freshly brewed espresso and shake vigorously to achieve the iconic martini foam. Adjust sweetness with more or less butterscotch syrup.
