- Dice or shred cooked chicken into bite-size pieces.
- Dice apples, slice celery, and halve the grapes.
- Toast walnuts in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3–4 minutes until fragrant, then cool.
- In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
- Add chicken, apples, grapes, celery, and walnuts to the bowl.
- Gently toss everything together until evenly coated.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Chill for 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.
- Serve on lettuce leaves, sandwiches, or wraps.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute half the mayonnaise with Greek yogurt.
