Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a large baking dish.
- Spread bread cubes onto baking sheets and lightly toast for 10–15 minutes.
- Sauté onions and celery in butter until softened, then add garlic.
- Stir in herbs, salt, and pepper.
- Pour mixture over dried bread cubes and combine.
- Add warm broth gradually until bread is moistened. Stir in beaten eggs.
- Transfer stuffing to baking dish, dot with butter, and bake uncovered for 40–50 minutes.
- Serve warm as part of your holiday dinner.
Notes
Use homemade or store-bought broth. For crispier stuffing, bake slightly longer.
